3. Start Advising
Once you’ve identified a program, begin the advising process to move forward.

- Meet with an advisor to review your program and next steps
- Confirm how study abroad fits into your degree plan
4. Apply to Your Program
When you’re ready, complete and submit your Baylor Study Abroad application.
- Finish all required steps in your BearsAbroad application
- Submit materials by your program deadline
- Track your progress through your application portal
5. Prepare to Go Abroad
After acceptance, you’ll complete pre-departure steps to get ready for your experience.
- Attend a required pre-departure orientation
- Finalize travel, housing, and course approvals
- Prepare for your experience abroad
