After your Global Scholars fall semester abroad, you’ll return to Baylor’s Waco campus in the spring—already connected with your cohort and supported every step of the way.
Here’s what you can expect as you transition to campus:
Start Strong on Campus
- Welcome Weekend – Kick off your Waco experience with events designed to help you build friendships, connect to campus, and feel at home right away
- Arrive with a built-in community – You’ll already know your Global Scholars cohort before stepping on campus
Continue Your Academic Experience
- GBL 1103: Re-Entry from Study Abroad – A cohort-based course led by your Global Scholars Program Director
- Reflect on your experience abroad and build on what you’ve learned
- Prepare for next steps such as research, internships, and leadership opportunities

Housing for Spring Semester
- Housing is guaranteed – You will receive a space in a Baylor residence hall
- Choose your preferences – You’ll meet with a Baylor housing coordinator during the fall to select your spring housing
- Roommate requests welcome – We will do our best to match you with preferred roommates
