International Student & Scholar Services provides impactful programming for international students and scholars that focuses on 4 key objectives: celebrate home cultures, foster intercultural understanding, provide holistic support, and promote sense of belonging. ISSS provides three categories of programming that meets these objectives:
Support and Resource Programming
- Support and Resource Programming connects international students with resources and support they need to be successful during their time at Baylor
- Global Bears Week, CGE Ambassadors, OPT and CPT Workshops, Graduation Reception and Sash Presentation, Maintaining Status newsletter, and more.
Global Friendship Programming
- Global Friendship Programming facilitates intercultural relationships between international students, Baylor peers, and the broader community
- Global Friendship Matching Program, Green and Gold Dinner, International Fall Festival, Waco Discovery Day, sports tournaments, International Snack Hours, and more.
American Cultural Programming
- American Cultural Programming creates opportunities for international students to encounter different facets of Texan and American culture
- NASA Trip, New York City Spring Break Trip, Homecoming Parade, football tailgates, and more.

Global Friendship Program
