Regulations
Health Insurance
All international students at Baylor University are required to have unlimited coverage in medical insurance coverage. Enrollment in the mandatory Baylor University Health Insurance Plan is automatic at the time of registration, and the cost of the policy will appear on a student's tuition and fee bill as ’Required Insurance’. The fall student insurance premium will appear on the fall semester bill; the student premium for spring and summer will appear on the spring semester bill. While insurance is not required for dependents, it is highly recommended due to the high costs of healthcare in the U.S. If you would like to purchase health insurance for your spouse and/or children, please contact the Baylor University Health Center Insurance Office. Accompanying family members will be billed in accordance with posted dependent rates at the times. Students graduating during the Spring Semester must notify Health Services before the 12th day of class of their plans to leave before the summer to avoid paying summer insurance charges.
