If you study on campus, your health insurance starts at the beginning of the semester. If you need proof of coverage before arriving on campus, please email Global_Gateway@baylor.edu or Lisa_Bland@baylor.edu.
If you have a Health Center hold on your account, the nurses can see what vaccines you need. Some students need to get meningitis vaccine, tetanus vaccine or MMR.
You should go to the Baylor Health Center located on the 2nd floor of the Student Life Center (209 Speight Ave. Waco, TX 76706).
Bring your passport and medical documents (vaccination documents, COVID vaccine card, etc.)
All international students must have a COVID test within 3 to 5 days of arriving in the USA. If you’d like to do this on campus, and you have no symptoms, go to the Health Center located on the 2nd floor of the Student Life Center to get tested. Bring your proof of vaccination or upload it here.
If you have COVID symptoms and would like to be tested on campus, please go to the Baylor Health Center in the Student Life Center to be tested. Bring your proof of vaccination or upload it here.
**If you have been fully vaccinated for COVID, you are still required to be tested.
If you have no COVID vaccine or only 1 out of 2 COVID vaccines, you can get the vaccine at the Baylor Health Center located on the second floor of the Student Life Center and then self-quarantine for 7 days.
