Getting to Waco
Air Travel to Waco
If at all possible, please make your flight reservations all the way to the Waco Regional Airport (ACT), connecting in Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) via American Eagle or American Airlines.
Airport Shuttle from Waco Regional Airport (ACT)
If you arrive at the Waco Airport significantly earlier or later than the date listed on your I-20 or entry document, please refer to the Waco Regional Airport Shuttle webpage. From here, you can arrange transportation for a small fee from the airport to your housing accommodations. Advance reservations are required.
Greyhound (Bus) Travel to Waco
Greyhound Bus services are available throughout the USA. Though Baylor does not pickup from major airports around Texas such as Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, the Greyhound has routes that connects from these airports to the Waco Greyhound Bus Station. Baylor Unviersity can pick up students that arrive at the Greyhound station from Friday, August 13th, 2021, through Monday, August 16th, 2021 in preparation for Global Bears Week. Various car shuttle services such as Uber, Lyft, and others can also be arranged to be picked from the Waco Greyhound Station. Please email ISSS_Support@baylor.edu for more information.
Shuttle & Other Transportation Services
Waco Streak: If you do fly into the Dallas airport and the connecting flight to Waco is not available, you may consider using the Waco Streak which is a shuttle van operating between Waco and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport (DFW). More information and online reservations can be found here at the link above. Advance reservations are required.
