In support of Baylor University's mission to develop leaders for worldwide service, the Center for Global Engagement, in partnership with George W. Truett Theological Seminary, is launching a Graduate Certificate in Global Engagement. This pilot initiative extends Baylor's commitment to global learning by equipping master's and doctoral students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to lead effectively in an interconnected world.
Through globally focused coursework, intercultural development, experiential learning, and reflective practice, students cultivate cultural humility, ethical leadership, and a commitment to human flourishing across professional, academic, ministry, healthcare, nonprofit, and community settings.
As the inaugural partner, Truett Seminary will help shape a model designed for future expansion across Baylor's graduate and professional programs, creating a sustainable framework for developing globally competent leaders’ institution wide.
The Graduate Certificate in Global Engagement reflects Baylor's enduring belief that transformative education prepares students not only for successful careers, but also for lives of meaningful leadership, faithful service, and lasting impact in a diverse and interconnected world.
