The Global Table Lunch: Social Work in International Contexts

A shared meal during lunch where students have time between classes to share a meal and learn from current MSW/Global Mission Leadership Scholars about social work practice in their home contexts.  

GML Scholars will be at four different tables for two, 30-minute discussions.  GML Scholars will give a overview of their previous social service work in their home country including the following:     
- Previous social service work prior to BU/MSW
- Meaningful moments of service to community and others 
- Meaningful cultural values to draw from as a resource for future international social work practice

Each table discussion will conclude with a Q/A with table friends
