Sustainable Development Goals and Japanese Businesses: JPN3305 Student Project Presentations & Soy Sauce Tasting
Students in JPN3305 Japanese for Professions will share what they have learned about Japanese businesses and their approaches to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through case studies of All Nippon Airways, Kyushu Power Co., Kodansha, International Christian University, and a small soy sauce producer in Fukuoka. This small company's mission statement highlights its view on social responsibility and its commitment to the local community. The audience will also have a chance to taste the company's soy sauce and experience firsthand that "not all soy sauces are brewed equal."
