Welcome to Baylor!
Baylor University warmly welcomes international delegations (and individuals) from around the world who seek to foster deeper connections with our institution.
What is a Delegation? A "delegation" refers to any group representing a foreign academic, private, or governmental institution. This includes groups and individual students, staff, faculty, government representatives, association members, or high-ranking individuals who officially represent their institution or group.
The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) coordinates international delegations (and individual) visits that align with Baylor University’s strategic priorities. We work closely with faculty, schools, and departments to ensure visits are well planned and appropriately supported. Although we endeavor to meet the needs of all of our visitors, not every request may be fulfilled.
The Center for Global Engagement's Role in Visit Arrangements
CGE takes the lead on visits involving:
Strategic partnerships tied to university-wide international agreements
Executive-level visitors invited by the President, Provost, or Vice Provost for Global Engagement
High-profile delegations that advance Baylor’s global mission
For other international visitors, CGE serves as a resource and advisor to help departments plan and host their own visits.
