How Scholarships Work
Baylor uses Scholarship Universe to connect you with scholarships you are eligible for—including funding for study abroad.
Instead of applying to just one scholarship, you’ll create a profile, receive personalized matches, and apply to opportunities that fit you. Our office then reviews applications and awards funding from several study abroad scholarship funds.

Set up your account in Scholarship Universe and complete your profile to unlock scholarship matches. - Apply to Matched Scholarships
You’ll see all scholarships you’re eligible for—including study abroad funding. Apply directly through the system. Submit Before a Scholarship Deadline
Your applications must be submitted during one of the scholarship rounds below to be considered for funding.

Scholarship Application Rounds & Deadlines
Study abroad scholarships are awarded in multiple rounds throughout the year. You must submit your applications in Scholarship Universe during one of the application windows below to be considered.

Types of Study Abroad Scholarships
Funding may come from several Baylor study abroad scholarship funds, including:
- Glennis McCrary Goodrich International Scholarship
- Additional Center for Global Engagement scholarship funds
Scholarship Universe will show you what internal study abroad scholarship funds you are eligible for. Your applications in Scholarship Universe will determine your eligibility for available funding.
