About the Week:
The Center for Global Engagement coordinates International Education Week 2024, a weeklong celebration taking place from November 11th to 15th. This event showcases lectures, presentations, and interactive activities that highlight the profound impact of international education at Baylor. A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Education, IEW is celebrated annually across the United States, emphasizing the benefits of international education and exchange. Coordinated events are sponsored by registered student organizations, academic units, and campus departments.

Global Engagement Awards
In recognition of International Education Week, Baylor University’s Center for Global Engagement is pleased to honor eight individuals from across campus who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to international education, global competence, cultural understanding, and/or supporting international students and services. Each unit within the Center for Global Engagement has selected two faculty/staff members who have made significant contributions to their respective areas over the past year.
