The Center for Global Engagement sponsors trips and various cultural events for International Students and Scholars each semester. The trips and events are open for any Baylor international student and scholar to attend as well as their family members and friends.
Refund Policy: If a fee is required for a trip or event and a student has paid that fee, no refunds will be granted after the registration deadline for that event. Students that cancel before the registration deadline must come to the ISSS office to obtain a refund.

Global Bears Week
August 14-17: New international student orientation. Come join the ISSS staff, Ambassador student leaders and your fellow new international students for fun, food and information at this multi-day orientation to learn more about Baylor.

Baylor Football Tailgate
September 2: Take part in another American and Baylor tradition by attending Baylor football's first home game on Saturday, September 2nd. Stop by McLane Stadium before the game for free food, fun and games!

Global Friendship Program Kickoff
September 30: Apply to the Global Friendship Program to take part in this event and meet new friends!

Pumpkin Carving Party
Come have some fun with ISSS as we carve pumpkins together. Learn more about the holiday season as you carve your own pumpkin and get to take it home with you!
Homecoming Parade
October 28: March in the Baylor homecoming parade and prepare to have fun as the entire Baylor family comes out to watch and cheer for you!

International Education Week
November 6-10: Join ISSS as we celebrate International Education Week, a nationwide initiative that Baylor participates in to help share knowledge about the world on US college campuses.

International Thanksgiving Dinner
November 13: All international students and their families are invited to attend this semi-formal event, featuring traditional Thanksgiving foods, along with a presentation by Baylor Round Table speakers explaining the origin of the Thanksgiving holiday.

International Graduation Reception
December 2: All graduates and their close families and friends are encouraged to attend this extent to celebrate the accomplishments of our December 2023 international graduates.

International Tea & Coffee Hour
Happening monthly throughout the spring semester, join the international student & scholar community in the International Flags lobby for some delicious coffee and/or tea!
