International Plus Admission Option
International Plus students are not Global Gateway Program (English pathway) students, but they do take some of the same classes.
International Plus is a direct admission option available to admissible undergraduate candidates whose English proficiency scores are low enough to require some English for Academic Purposes (EAP) classes.
International Plus students share the following two upper-level EAP classes with GGP students:
- GBL 1331 English for Academic Purposes Reading and Writing
- GBL 1333 English for Academic Purposes Listening and Speaking
Both courses count for credit towards graduation requirements.
Any interested Baylor undergraduate student that feels the need to improve their English can also enroll in these classes.
See the following for more details:
- Baylor Undergraduate course catalog - full course descriptions
- GGP Student Handbook - full side-by-side comparison of the Global Gateway English pathway program and International Plus (see Appendix C).
Like all programs, applications are submitted via the Baylor Admissions website.
