GGP Program Overview
The Global Gateway Program (GGP) is an English pathway that helps transition students into major degree programs. The program has three levels, each lasting one semester. Students can enter at the 3rd (lowest) and 2nd (middle) levels, and are placed according to their language needs. The 1st (highest) level is for continuing students.
In the program, students receive English for Academic Purposes (EAP) classes, culture, and academic skills classes while also taking General Education requirements required for graduation from BU. Students live on campus and participate fully in all student events, activities, and organizations on campus.
